A little about me

Hey there! I’m Emma.

After 13 years frontline, I decided to pick up a camera as a creative outlet as I’d felt like I’d lost my sense of purpose during a difficult time in my life. I quickly discovered that photography was my art and a way of expressing myself. I’m a people person, and love a chat. I don’t mind being in front of the camera but am happiest when behind it. I truly am humbled whenever someone puts their trust in me to capture their precious milestones and moments.

I’m a sucker for any type of romance novel and movie. Yes, even C-D grade. I love a happy ending and will google the ending if I’m unsure because I just can’t deal otherwise, no negative vibes here thanks! So I assume it was only natural that I was going to absolutely LOVE love and fall into capturing Weddings and Engagements and all of the beautiful emotions that come with it.

I have a habit of becoming besties with your parents, laughing with your relatives, and becoming your little ones favourite person for the day. I am a total expert at working with partners that don’t love photos (thanks to a broody hubby) and at wrangling little ones on the move (thanks to my tornado of a toddler). I am all over coordinating and instructing family members when required and am here to be your number 1 supportive hype gal on the day. I even offer bad guy services for any wayward distant relatives (I get it - families can be tricky at times, even mine), politely of course.

I am here to work with you, to help guide you through your day and to bring your vision to life capturing the big moments, the small and the in between.

I truly believe finding the right photographer for your special day isn’t just about the images, but also about finding the right person who fits you as a couple and creating that connection. After all, your photographer is the one who will spend the most time with you.

I’m always up for a chat - so any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

But if you ask me - we should totally work together - I’m a total hoot.
